Superior Video Experience
Rising above lower quality players, the new Pioneer devices are outfitted with industry-leading video features and engineering to deliver smooth, sharp reproduction with high resolution picture performance. To fulfill the dynamic movie viewing experience of home audiences, the two new DVD players take advantage of Pioneer’s renowned PureCinema 2:3 Progressive Scan technology that eliminates many troublesome image artifacts like jagged edges or excessive film judder. Additional high performance parts are utilized in both players to output a clearer, more accurate picture of all video content.
Surround Sound Audio
Bringing the on-screen action to life, Pioneer’s new DVD players offer Dolby® Digital and DTS® decoding for 5.1 surround sound. Pioneer gives users the ability to tailor their entertainment experience with various audio customization capabilities including Dialogue Enhancer to improve the narrative quality during particularly loud background scenes as well as Virtual Surround to hear rear audio even when surround back speakers are not being used.
“Consumers are purchasing high definition televisions at a steady pace and they will only want to connect high performance components that can playback their content with pristine pictures and sound. With our new line of DVD players, we continue bringing to market sophisticated models, including our DV-410V with HDMI, that give entertainment enthusiasts the confidence that comes with using a quality Pioneer optical disc player,” said Chris Walker, senior manager of marketing and product planning at Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc.
Connect to Your Flat Panel Display
Pioneer’s next generation HDMI upconverting DVD player provides quick connectivity and easy set-up with new 1080p HDTVs. With HDMI, the new DV-410V eliminates the video conversions that take place between analog and digital signals when playing standard DVD to a connected HDTV maintaining the best possible picture on the display. The Pioneer DV-410V will also be made available in June 2008 at a suggested price of $99.
Progressive DVD Player
As Pioneer’s introductory model, the DV-310 is a progressive DVD player that can be easily integrated in an array of rooms including, a dorm, child’s room or secondary bedroom. The new player takes advantage of Pioneer’s optical disc heritage to output premium picture and sound quality that looks and sounds superior to the original content.
