Sharp 2010 Audio Systems Offer Advanced Convenience And Connectivity For Digital Music Enjoyment
Sharp unveils a suite of new audio shelf systems, including three new mini-component and two micro-component systems that deliver powerful sound and advanced connectivity features to meet the diverse needs of today’s music enthusiasts. The powerful audio systems range from 100 to 350 Watts and are equipped with an iPod® dock and a front- USB music port for simple enjoyment of music playlists. Sharp’s shelf systems conveniently play and charge iPod® devices and control them from a full-function remote. The USB input offers additional connectivity for any digital music library.

Sharp’s new range of shelf systems also offers a compact design for a variety of environments and home decor. Front-sided inputs allow for easy use and convenience without the hassle of turning the system around to connect devices.

The mini-component systems, including the 350-watt CD-SW440N, 300-watt CD-DH899N and 200-watt CD-DH790N pack two channel speakers and the CD-SW440N adds a flashing subwoofer for additional power. Sharp’s audio suite is rounded out with the160-watt XL-DH259N and 100-watt XL-DH229N micro-component systems.
For added personalization, Sharp’s shelf systems offer a 32-track Automatic Programmable Music Selector that allows listeners to customize the order of music playback, as well as CD random and repeat playback. Up to 40 favorite radio stations can be preset on the AM/FM digital tuner, and the 6-mode Preprogrammed Electronic Equalizer enables users to tailor sound to their preferences. All models feature clock and sleep timers that can alert users with their selected songs or stations as well as single-tray CD players that are compatible with multiple formats including CD-R/CD-RW, MP3 and WMA. Available in glossy black, these compact systems deliver pristine sound. Bass boost is provided by the X-BASS (Extra Bass) System.
