Panasonic Debuts The 2012 Lineup Of Home Theater Systems

Panasonic today debuted the new 2012 lineup of Home Theater Systems. Utilizing state-of-the-art technology to produce superior sound quality, the SC-HTB550, SC-HTB350 and SC-HTB20 Home Theater System models, have been developed to offer users design-oriented products that enhance their home entertainment experience.

The new SC-HTB series of Home Theater Systems feature slim and stylish designs with multi-positional, detachable speakers for flexible layout options in the home. Users can choose a modern horizontal layout for a wall-mount set-up or TV-sized stand, or detach to create two separate freestanding vertical speakers for a classic tabletop style. The Home Theater Systems are equipped with a wireless subwoofer so users can freely place it anywhere in a room without concern for messy wiring.

With the new SC-HTB series, users can even enjoy high-quality home theater sound when the television is turned off. With the Wireless Music Streaming with Bluetooth® function, users can listen to their favorite music from Bluetooth-compatible devices without having to plug the device into a docking station or hook it into the sound system.

Each system’s high-quality sound employs an Anti-Jitter Digital Amplifier to eliminate distortion and clearly direct sound to produce pure, brilliant audio. A Down Firing Subwoofer produces powerful bass which is achieved through the downward release of sound from the speaker unit and port. With Clear-mode Dialog, the Home Theater Systems deliver dialog that is crisp and clear and offer more precise linking of picture and sound that seems like it is coming directly from the center of the TV. Additionally, the Dialog Level Control lets users adjust audio range frequency so dialog is enhanced and stands out from surround sound. Auto Gain Control provides users a smooth, automatic adjustment of volume between a movie or television show and commercial, reducing sudden volume increases.

These models feature 3D Signal compatibility for easy configuration of a FULL HD 3D home theater system by combining a 3D Blu-ray Disc™ player and 3D VIERA TV, and Audio Return Channel (ARC) which offers users the ability to connect to a television system with just one HDMI cable and avoid messy cabling around a television unit.

“Panasonic’s SC-HTB series of Home Theater Systems have been developed to offer users superior sound-quality for a truly exceptional home theater experience,” said Troy Livingston, Product manager, Panasonic Consumer Marketing Company of North America, Entertainment Group. “The new multi-positional speaker design concept was created to offer our customers various placement options that are both adjustable to their current circumstances and future proof, while still maintaining a sleek design style.”

The SC-HTB550 and SC-HTB20 models both feature VIERA Link™ which allows users to operate their VIERA Link compatible Audio/Video products with one remote. A luxurious, stainless mesh design makes speaker units visible for a unique design concept to enhance the ambiance of a home theater system’s high-quality sound. Additionally, the SC-HTB550 features high-quality stainless mesh with a refined luster finish.
