Samsung Launches New Sound Bars, Announces Availability and Pricing
Samsung Electronics America, Inc. today announced the U.S. pricing and availability of two new sound bars, the HW-C450 and HW-C451. With the sound bars, Samsung has delivered a new level of high-quality audio performance. With upgraded 280W total power output, the 2010 lineup also features unique, open speakers that operate without grills, and prism Touch of Color™ (ToC™) design for a smooth, slim and minimalist look. Samsung’s sound bars will be on public display at the Samsung Experience, located at The Time Warner Center in New York City beginning March 9, 2010.

Built to enhance the design of any room, the new sound bars also feature an alluring new prism ToC™ design, intended to complement Samsung’s modern and stylish 2010 HDTV lineup.
With 280W total power output and a wireless subwoofer, the HW-C450 and HW-C451 create a virtual surround sound effect while eliminating the need for speakers throughout the entire room. Built to enhance the design of any room, the new sound bars also feature an alluring new prism ToC™ design, intended to complement Samsung’s modern and stylish 2010 HDTV lineup. The HW-C450 comes in black and HW-C451 comes in silver. Both can easily be mounted to any wall and connect to the TV with just a single optical cable.
For added functionality, users can add a separately sold, wireless iPod and iPhone dock to the 2010 sound bar lineup. With this enhanced feature users can playback their favorite music from anywhere in the room by placing their iPhone or iPod on the dock in one easy step.
